Mechanical Engineer graduated from the Universidade de Fortaleza – UNIFOR, with a postgraduate degree in Metallurgy from the Universidade Federal do Ceará – UFC/CETREDE. I have a solid career developed in the management of large-scale projects and in the implementation, structuring, and operation of metro-rail businesses. I have held prominent positions such as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating and Maintenance Officer, and Chief Development and Technology Officer at the Companhia Cearense de Transportes Metropolitanos (Metrofor), as well as Deputy Secretary of the Secretariat of Infrastructure of the State of Ceará (Seinfra).
Specialized in technical-economic planning, large-scale fundraising (in the range of R$ 7 billion), and rolling stock specification, I led the design, construction, and implementation of milestones in rail-based urban mobility, such as the South Line, East Line, West Line, and the Light Rail Transit (LRT) branches in Fortaleza, Sobral, and Cariri.
Currently in the private sector heading the management of SMF – Serviços e Manutenção Ferroviários, I have extensive experience in the governance of consulting engineering contracts, international supplier prospecting, PPP (Public-Private Partnership) modeling, and the coordination and supervision of multidisciplinary technical teams in coordination with key government and sector development agencies.
